Overview
Isabella Calves is an associate in the Pensacola office of Cole, Scott & Kissane and practices in general civil litigation.
Isabella graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Chicago Kent College of Law, where she graduated with cum laude honors and was ranked in the top 25% of her class.
During her time as an undergraduate, Isabella received two Book Awards (Legal Advocacy and Legal Research and Writing). She also won first place in the Second Annual Oral Advocacy Championship as part of the Legal Advocacy class and received the Richard and Sandra Berg Scholarship Award for having the highest GPA for a female athlete. As a law student, she received two CALI awards, one in Mediation and one in Trial Advocacy, and was nominated to the Dean's List for six consecutive semesters.
Prior to joining CSK in September 2023, Isabella worked for a local firm assisting with product liability and property damage cases. She also clerked for the Honorable Judge Margaret A. Brennan in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division, in Chicago, Illinois.
Isabella was born and raised in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
