Jorge Yegres is an associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale-West Office. His practice focuses on first-party property insurance defense.
Jorge is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States when he was 17 years old. He decided to pursue a career in law while in College. He Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Political Science and International Relations. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law.
During law school Jorge was part of the Negotiations and Mediation team as well as part of the International Arbitration Team. In the Negotiations and Mediation team he participated in two National competitions and one International competition. As part of the International Arbitration Team he participated as one of the three orators at Moot Madrid 2022. He previously worked at Loigica P.A., a Business Immigration firm, assisting clients with incorporation of their businesses and obtaining legal immigrant status in the U.S.
