Overview
Jori McKain is a partner in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. McKain focuses his practice primarily in the area of general civil litigation and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation. Jori attended the CUNY City College of New York where he graduated, in 2012, with a dual BA in Psychology and Political Science. During Jori’s time in college he was able to take a variety of advanced legal, psychology, and political science courses and was also a member of his school’s Road to Law School Society. He went on to be accepted to the University of Miami School of Law and was accepted into the prestigious James Weldon Johnson (JWJ) summer prep program for incoming first-year law students. After completion of the JWJ program he began his law school career and participated, in addition to his studies, a number of successful externships including interning for Magistrate Judge John O’Sullivan and the Legal Services of Greater Miami tenants’ rights clinic where Jori handled his own cases representing low-income clients in various public housing disputes. In 2016, Jori earned his Juris Doctor from the University Of Miami School Of Law. Prior to joining CSK Jori focused on maters including general negligence and premises liability. Jori lives in Miami and is a member of the Florida Bar since October 2017.
