Overview
Julian Jorge Cordova is an Associate in the firm's Orlando office. He focuses his practice on general liability matters, including auto negligence and premises liability cases and is a dedicated litigator with a background in criminal prosecution and civil defense. Born in New Jersey and raised in South Florida, Mr. Cordova developed his competitive drive through high school wrestling, swimming, rugby, and water polo. Before law school, he spent five years in the food service industry, where he honed his ability to think quickly under pressure, manage complex logistics, and the art of collaborating with teams to create results greater than any individual could achieve.
Mr. Cordova graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in Anthropology before earning admission to FSU College of Law. As a law student, he competed on FSU’s Trial Team, honing foundational trial advocacy skills that would later prove critical in practice. He further developed his abilities through hands-on experience at an insurance defense firm.
After law school, Mr. Cordova served as an Assistant State Attorney for nearly two years, prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases. During that time, he personally handled close to 1,000 cases through final disposition, appearing in thousands of hearings, arguing dozens of motions, and trying multiple cases to verdict. This intensive courtroom experience sharpened his strategic thinking and advocacy under pressure.
When not practicing law, Julian enjoys being outdoors, thoughtful discussion on ethics and policy, games, most forms of content, and playing with his cats, Helios and Hera.
