Karina Quinteiro is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, where she focuses her practice in general civil litigation, premises liability, nursing home, wrongful death, and vehicle negligence.
Ms. Quinteiro was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. After completing her undergraduate studies, she decided to head to the windy city, where she received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During her time at law school, Ms. Quinteiro focused her studies in trial advocacy. She took courses such as trial practice, advanced evidence, alternative dispute resolution, and mediation advocacy. She eventually obtained all the credits to receive a Certificate in Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
During her time in law school, she was a member of the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association, where she served as the Director of Social Programs, and contributed to the institution as a member of the Code of Conduct Board. Ms. Quinteiro also gained valuable hands-on experience as an Illinois Rule 7/11 licensed student, providing legal assistance through the Community Law Center Clinic. She also participated in the Street Law program, which gave her the opportunity to teach local high school students about the legal system in the Chicago area. While still in law school, she also gained valuable experience during a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Alan Fine of the Florida 11th Circuit Court.
