Katelyn Dorane is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, focusing on complex civil litigation and construction matters. She devotes her practice to a broad range of construction defect claims, contractual disputes, and complex business litigation. Ms. Dorane frequently represents notable general contractors, design professionals, developers, subcontractors, owners and related entities throughout the South Florida region.

Originally from Bethpage, NY, Katelyn moved to Miami in 2018 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami. During her time at Florida International University College of Law, Katelyn was an active member of the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates and was a Regional Finalist at the Giles S. Reich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition. Ms. Dorane was also a teaching assistant for legal writing and research classes.

Ms. Dorane participated in Cole, Scott & Kissane's Summer Associate program and continued her employment with the firm as a Law Clerk during her third-year of law school. She graduated from law school cum laude and also earned a certificate in Intellectual Property.  She is also a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

In her free time, Ms. Dorane enjoys running and spending time outdoors.
