Kristopher Wohlers

Kristopher W. Wohlers is an Associate Attorney in the Orlando office of Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. His areas of practice include certain aspects of insurance and general liability defense, including personal injury defense, premises liability, automobile liability, and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Wohlers assists insurance agencies in not only providing outstanding representation, but avidly defending their insured.

Kris attended Stetson University, where he graduated with honors and received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration, magna cum laude. He then went on to law school, where he attended Stetson Law and graduated with honors in May of 2021 while receiving his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and also earned a Certification in Business Law.

In law school, Kris became part of the Dispute Resolution team where he learned, practiced, and competed in various forms of alternative dispute resolution. In the Fall of 2020, Kris also became a semi-regional finalist in the American Bar Associations Arbitration Competition. Additionally, Kris gained valuable legal experience by working as a legal extern with the Federal Court in the Middle District of Florida for the honorable judge Thomas Wilson. Kris is also a member of the international legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi. Furthermore, Kris was a Teaching Assistant for three different Professors at Stetson Law, which included classes like Property Law, Professional Responsibility, and Secured Transactions. He also volunteered his time with the Volunteer Income Tax Association, as well as other pro bono initiatives. Kris also spent a summer studying abroad in the Hague, Netherlands where he visited the International Court, the Criminal Justice Court, and learned about various aspects of international law and treaties.

Besides his professional goals, Kris aims to be the office comedian, and loves to spend his time with family and friends.
