Lorena Gonzalez is an associate in the firm's Miami office. She practices in the areas of General Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Catastrophic Bodily Injury, Liquor Liability Defense, Trucking Accident Defense, and Premises Liability.
During law school, Ms. Gonzalez was involved in various organizations, including the Cuban American Student Bar Association and the St. Thomas Law Review. Ms. Gonzalez served as the Secretary and Vice-President of the Cuban American Student Bar Association, where she was able to network with members of the organization's parent chapter while assisting with events, such as the annual gala. In the St. Thomas Law Review, Ms. Gonzalez served as Alumni Relations & Events Editor, where she planned networking events, created and distributed a monthly newsletter, and engaged frequently with law review alumni.
While a student, Ms. Gonzalez completed more than 100 pro bono hours and received the Pro Bono Commendation Certificate in the Spring of 2023. Ms. Gonzalez was also on the Dean's List during various semesters and was a Merit Scholarship recipient, as well as a Benveti-Mulvey Scholarship Recipient and a Cuban American Bar Association Scholarship Recipient.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Gonzalez gained experience working in firms that specialized in first-party property insurance law, personal injury, and premises liability. Additionally, Ms. Gonzalez interned for the Honorable Antonio Arzola of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
