Mary E. Boning is an Associate in the West Palm Beach office and practices in the areas of Legal Malpractice, Commercial Litigation, Banking and Financial Litigation, Complex Litigation, Directors and Officers Liability, Insurance Agent/Broker Errors & Omissions, Employment Law, Class Action, and Community Association Law.
Ms. Boning primarily focuses on handling business-related disputes, including corporate transactional matters, professional malpractice, breach of contract, fraud claims, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder disputes, tortious interference, and consumer claims.
Ms. Boning earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, magna cum laude, from Florida State University, and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she received a full-tuition merit scholarship. During law school, Ms. Boning served as a Student Ambassador for the "Introduction to Law School and the Profession" program and expanded her legal perspective by studying international law during a semester abroad at University College Dublin's Sutherland School of Law.
Before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Boning gained valuable experience working at an insurance defense firm in New York City, clerking for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, and leading a small in-house legal team at a corporate services company, where she handled both litigation and transactional matters.
