Originally from Colombia, Ms. Suarez earned her law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, where she became a licensed lawyer. She later moved to the United States and earned an LL.M. in International Law at Stetson University College of Law. After graduating, Ms. Suarez gained experience working for Florida law firms specializing in representing plaintiffs in employment and personal injury cases. She then obtained a J.D. and LL.M. in U.S. and Transnational Law at the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Suarez completed an externship at the largest privately held international spirits company and gained valuable insights into corporate social responsibility and regulatory compliance.
Ms. Suarez is fluent in Spanish and holds dual licenses to practice law in both Florida and Colombia.
