Overview
O. Serenity Eller is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Orlando office. She focuses her practice primarily on employment law representing employers in employment related matters such as discrimination, retaliation, unpaid wages, and other employment law claims under various state and federal laws. Ms. Eller assists employers in defending matters in court and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Florida Commission on Human Relations, and helps employers with policy development and training, with an emphasis on preventive practices.
Ms. Eller attended the University of West Florida where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice. Ms. Eller then attended Barry University School of Law where she graduated summa cum laude. During law school, Ms. Eller worked as a Note and Comment Editor for Barry Law Review and served as Dean’s Study Fellow for various subject matters such as criminal law, torts, and evidence.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Eller worked as a Legal Intern for a local sports agency where she gained valuable experience reviewing and drafting contracts. Ms. Eller also worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Gisela Laurent in Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida. In her free time, Ms. Eller enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
