Overview
Rocco Marucci is a partner in the firm's Tallahassee office. His areas of expertise include: Vehicle Negligence, First Party Property, Premises Liability and General Civil Litigation. He joins the firm after three decades of litigation in the areas of Personal Injury, First Party Property Insurance, Family Law, Criminal Defense and General Civil Litigation. He has litigated and tried numerous cases in both civil and criminal courts in Florida.
Mr. Marucci obtained his his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas School of Law in Miami, Florida. While in law school, Mr. Marucci was on the Dean's List and received several Book Awards in Trial Advocacy, Legal Research and Criminal and Civil Procedure.
Mr. Marucci also was appointed and served as a Traffic Magistrate from 2005-2022 for the 17th Judicial Circuit for Broward County, and was instrumental in helping develop the first Teen Traffic Court in the State of Florida. He has also served as Court Appointed Counsel and as a Guardian Ad Litem, and has been the recipient of several awards for pro-bono contributions of time to various community organizations.
