Rochelle Birnbaum Chiocca is a Partner in CSK’s West Palm Beach office and the firm’s Director of Professional Development. For the past twenty-five years, Ms. Chiocca has represented private entities throughout Florida in commercial and insurance disputes, particularly in the areas of construction, premises liability, and personal injury law.
As CSK’s Director of Professional Development, Ms. Chiocca assists the firm in matters involving employment practices, conflicts of interest, legal ethics, and internal firm policies. Ms. Chiocca also oversees attorney recruitment at CSK, bringing in talented newly licensed and lateral attorneys.
Additionally, Ms. Chiocca frequently visits law schools around the state to meet with and interview students and introduce them to our merit-based and collaborative culture and our many practice areas. After helping them navigate the start of their careers at the firm, Ms. Chiocca finds it rewarding to watch as new attorneys develop their skillsets, contribute to the firm’s continued success, and become the next generation of leaders at CSK.
Ms. Chiocca also organizes and leads CSK’s annual Summer Associate Program. Each year, CSK welcomes over 75 students firmwide for a 9-week program that simulates what it is like to be an associate attorney at the firm. CSK’s Summer Associates receive hands-on litigation experience through research and writing assignments, attendance at depositions, hearings, and mediations, and weekly mentorship presentations. Many of these students return to the firm as associate attorneys after they graduate.
A proud triple Nole, Ms. Chiocca received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and History, her Master of Arts in International Affairs, and her Juris Doctor, all from the Florida State University.
