Overview
Scott H. Jackman, a Partner in the firm's Tampa office, is a member of the firm’s Community Association Group and focuses on litigation defense of claims against condominium, homeowner and community associations and their officers and directors, to include civil and administrative claims based on the governing statutes, employment and housing discrimination claims, actions for breach of vendor contracts, as well as personal injury and other common law claims. Mr. Jackman also handles malpractice suits against real estate brokers and agents, title and insurance agents, tax and other professionals, as well as personal injury actions involving business and private properties.
Mr. Jackman provides representation in arbitrations, state and federal court, as well administrative proceedings before city, county, state and federal agencies investigating claims of employment and housing discrimination. Mr. Jackman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law.
