Sheena Maldonado is a partner in the West Palm Beach office and practices in the areas of Legal Malpractice, Commercial Litigation, Directors and Officers Liability, Insurance Agent/Broker Errors & Omissions, Employment Law, and Country Club, Homeowners' Association and Condominium Law.
Ms. Maldonado maintains a significant practice in defending professionals and has experience handling a variety of business-related disputes, including professional malpractice, breach of contract, claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder disputes, tortious interference, and consumer claims. Ms. Maldonado has achieved favorable results for clients in both federal and state venues, including in complex litigation divisions.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Ms. Maldonado earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science, cum laude from Florida State University and a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law, magna cum laude. During law school, Ms. Maldonado served as a Law Clerk for a plaintiffs' personal injury law firm as well as Law Clerk at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in the Division of Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Maldonado worked for a boutique civil litigation firm in Boca Raton, Florida handling cases in general litigation, medical facility representation, and homeowners' association and condominium law.
Ms. Maldonado is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern District of Florida.
