Sonia N. Wakefield is an Associate in the firm's Fort Lauderdale West Office. She earned Bachelor of Art degree in political Science at Fordham University in New York and her Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Fort Lauderdale.
Sonia immediately began her legal career as a State Prosecutor in the 20th Judicial Circuit and also practiced as a State Prosecutor in the15th Judicial circuit. Prior to attending law school, Sonia was an NYPD police detective which developed her skills in negotiation, fact finding and legal analysis.
Ms. Wakefield is excited to practice civil litigation with Cole, Scott & Kissane where she will apply her experience in legal analysis and in the courtroom, to assist her clients in the PIP division.
