Overview

Dan Calvert is a partner in the firm's Bonita Springs office.  His practice focuses on medical malpractice, carrier representation, and general civil litigation.

Mr. Calvert is admitted to practice in all Florida and Tennessee state courts and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Calvert then attended The University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was a member of the Tennessee Law Review and Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and received awards for excellence in health care law and legal research and writing. He graduated with a Juris Doctorate, with a Concentration in Business Transactions.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Calvert worked at a boutique firm in Tennessee and, more recently, the Florida office of a national plaintiff's firm, where his practice focused on medical malpractice, class actions, and general civil litigation.
