Overview

Grace Crawford is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Orlando office. She focuses her practice primarily on employment law representing employers in employment related matters such as discrimination, retaliation, unpaid wages, and other employment law claims under various state and federal laws. Ms. Crawford assists employers in defending matters in court and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Florida Commission on Human Relations, and helps employers with policy development and training, with an emphasis on preventive practices.

Ms. Crawford attended the University of Florida where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Ms. Crawford then attended Stetson University School of Law where she graduated cum laude. During law school, Ms. Crawford worked as a teaching fellow for the department of research and writing.

Prior to working at Cole, Scott and Kissane Ms. Crawford represented clients on a variety of complex civil litigation cases, as well as white collar crime defense. Ms. Crawford’s work included large-scale document review, extensive pre-trial discovery and trial preparation. She also participated in a four-month federal criminal trial involving health care fraud, which ultimately resulted in a presidential pardon.
