Overview

Overview

Before embarking on my journey to become a Lawyer, I enlisted and served on active duty in the Marine Corps for 8 Honorable years as an amphibious assault vehicle crewman from 2008-2016. During that time, I deployed twice, once to Afghanistan serving on my Battalion Commanders Personal Security Detachment, in which I was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for exemplary performance of my duties. I also deployed aboard a Naval Troop Carrier ship and traveled across the Pacific and Middle east training various Countries military’s. During that time, we also conducted anti-piracy operation off the Coast Somalia. The last of my military highlights was in Mongolia in which we conducted UN peacekeeping training with multiple different nations. I finished my active service training the new officers and senior enlisted in combat operations and my respective occupational skill. After my active duty service, I worked an additional 3 years for the Marine Corps as a private contractor. It was during this time that I decided to become an Attorney.

While I was working full time as a private contractor I also attended Cal State San Marcos full time and received my BA with a 3.66 GPA. I attained this GPA not only while working full time but while managing 5 kids between my wife and I, the last 2 being born during my undergrad. After finishing my undergrad, I applied and was accepted into various law schools. As a family we decided we wanted to live in the Jacksonville area, so I attended Florida Coastal School of Law, the only law school close enough. I started my career as an intern at Cole, Scott and Kissane in October 2020. During this time, I worked part time, attended and finished law school full time, and maintained my family life. Since October 2020 I have worked in Insurance Defense. Largely due to my military background I will continue to come to the defense of my fellow Americans.
