Tampa Partner, Dan Shapiro and Tampa Associate, Marian Greer, recently received a favorable trial result in a Sarasota jury trial for the defendant driver of a vehicle. The case involved a 2019 rear end car accident that Plaintiff claimed to have caused a spinal injury and a TBI. During cross of Plaintiff’s last minute radiologist and presentation of the defense’s expert biomechanical, CME doctor, and neuroradiologist, CSK defeated Plaintiff’s claim for permanency and the defense received a verdict of under $25,000.00, representing Plaintiff’s date of accident bills and conservative care, and was the amount of defense submitted in closing as appropriate.
