Stephen Alexander Barrial

Stephen Alexander Barrial is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, where he focuses his practice on business litigation and complex commercial disputes. Mr. Barrial has developed particular experience in disputes involving accounting, financial, and tax-related issues. He routinely represents accountants, accounting firms, and other professionals in professional liability matters arising from allegations of negligence, malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, and related business torts. His background in taxation provides him with a unique ability to analyze complex financial issues and develop practical litigation strategies for clients facing high-stakes business disputes.

Mr. Barrial earned his bachelor's degree from Florida International University, his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. During law school, he participated in the Internal Revenue Service's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and was actively involved in both the Tax Law Society and the Business Law Society.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Barrial was appointed to the City of Coral Gables Emergency Management Division, becoming one of the youngest individuals selected to serve in that capacity. Through this role, he contributes to the City's emergency preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives, supporting efforts to strengthen community resilience.
